Surgicric II is a cricothyrotomy set for the classical surgical technique and enables securing the airway in case of upper airway obstruction, respectively as "Ultima Ratio" if all other attempts to ventilate the patient failed. Packed in a specific sterile pouch, the set is providing clear overview of all components. The special feature of Surgicric II is the combination of tube and dilator. The pre-inserted dilator in the tube allows for a rapid, easy procedure.
——Use
1. Vertical skin incision
2. Blunt dissection
3. Horizontal incision through the cricothyroid membrane
4. Insert speculum and turn by 90°
5. Insert tube via the speculum into the trachea
6. Unlock and remove the dilator

Dilator
- Soft tip to prevent injury of the posterior tracheal wall

Locking Mechanism on the Dilator
The locking mechanism on the dilator reduces the risk of an accidental dislocation of the dilator from the tracheal tube.
Moveable Flange
Moveable flange to adjust the tube to different anatomic situations.
Placement Control
Placement control by aspiration with the syringe through dilator.
