Surgicric® II is a set for surgical cricothyrotomy according to the classical surgical technique. The set enables securing the airway in case of upper airway obstruction, respectively as "Ultima Ratio" if all other attempts to ventilate the patient failed. The special feature of Surgicric® II is the combination of tube and dilator. The pre-inserted dilator in the tube allows for a rapid, easy procedure. Packed in a specific sterile pouch, the set is providing clear overview of all components.
——Use
1. Vertical skin incision
2. Blunt dissection
3. Horizontal incision through the cricothyroid membrane
4. Insert speculum and turn by 90°
5. Insert tube via the speculum into the trachea
6. Unlock and remove the dilator
