With Quicktrach® I and Quicktrach® II (with cuff) we offer two sets for percutaneous cricothyrotomy according to the catheter-over-needle technique, for securing the airway in a CICO situation (Cannot Intubate – Cannot Oxygenate), in case of upper airway obstruction.

Quicktrach® II

The Quicktrach® I is a percutaneous cricothyrotomy set according to the catheter-over-needle technique, for securing the airway in a CICO situation (Cannot Intubate – Cannot Oxygenate) in case of upper airway obstruction.

We offer the Quicktrach® I for children (cannula 2 mm I.D.) and for adults (cannula 4 mm I.D.). The sterile set is preassembled and available in blister packaging or plastic tube.

Needle

  • Due to the conical needle tip, the opening into the trachea is dilated

Cannula

  • Inner diameter is adequate for temporary ventilation with standard breathing systems(1)

Stopper

  • Reduces the risk of posterior tracheal wall perforation while inserting the needle into the trachea

Necktape

  • For safe fixation

Syringe

  • For checking the location in the trachea

Quicktrach® II

The Quicktrach® II is a percutaneous cricothyrotomy set according to the catheter-over-needle technique, for securing the airway in a CICO situation (Cannot Intubate – Cannot Oxygenate) in case of upper airway obstruction. The cuff allows sealing of the trachea.

We offer the Quicktrach® II for adults (cannula 4 mm I.D.). The sterile set is preassembled and available in blister packaging or plastic tube.

  • Inner diameter is adequate for temporary ventilation with standard breathing systems(1)

Cuff

  • The cuff allows sealing of the trachea

Packaging Variants

  • In addition to the blister pack, the Quicktrach is also available in a plastic tube (length 23 cm, Ø 5 cm, ideal for emergency bags)
